Moment to Arrive

With steps treating too slow,
For the inconsiderate speed of time,

A newly evolving life is running,

Chasing, catching up and falling behind.

.

With steps treading too slow,

For an insensitive pace of events,

A nervous life is stopping,

Asking for directions,

Too afraid to get lost;

In the quagmire of paths.

.

With steps treading too slow,
For arbitrary happenings,

A tired life is impatiently scurrying through;

Street of her hometown,

Trusting strangers in the middle of nowhere,

But the desire is too overwhelming,

For her to wait for the right;

Moment to arrive.
